TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is solid.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
